All my friends know that I'm into hot foods, and the other day a friend of mine tells me that there is a place nearby that has a hot wing challenge. It's called "Scotty's Double Or Nothing Hot Wing Challenge". You have 10 minutes to eat 12 super hot wings. The only rule is no drinks are allowed, and you have to eat a dried ghost pepper when all the wings are gone! My brother in law and my friend (the one who told me about it), did it with me. Let's just say it was MUCH hotter than I expected. I wasn't really expecting much, and since I had done the Seppuku Challenge, I figured this would be a walk in the park, but boy was I wrong! They smelled unreal! Much hotter than anything I've been able to make at home with all my sauces.
My friend and I were able to finish them, and we were the first people to do so. I talked to the owner afterward, and he said he would take our picture and put it on the wall (sweet!).
When I was talking to him, I asked him what he used to make these bastards so damn hot, and he said he uses Frank's as a base, and then uses dried Ghost Peppers and Ghost Pepper powder as well.
I'm not sure if it's because I just finished these around an hour ago, and they are fresh on the mind, but I honestly think they are even hotter than the legendary seppuku challenge from Buffalo Cantina. When I was done I felt like I was freezing and couldn't stop shivering (is this normal? lol).
I'm uploading the video on youtube right now, and will add it to this post once it's done.
