Any clue as to what this is?

Hey guys anyone ever seen a seedling like this? At first I thought it was a defect but it looks to perfect like by design. It's a seed from a pack called Caribbean Blend which had several varities any clues, am very curious.

Not sure if it's by design Robin. Looks more life deformed to me. The new growth looks normal.

I would have to agree with Patrick! I have had seedlings do that from over watering .

K thanks just weird that it's the only one that looks that way and they were all abused the same way lol.

I have a few that have some jaggedness to the cotys from having seed helmets and/or just getting out of the seed husks. If it's just one it's nothing to worry about.
