plant Any clue what this pepper plant is

I have no clue what this plant is supposed to end up being. I'm sure it's something simple but I certainly haven't figured it out. This plant is currently a little over a foot tall and it bears fruit constantly. I have taken them off while still black up to a little over two inches and they are pretty hot. I took off one the other day that looked as if it was starting to turn green. Out of nowhere, the one pictured below turned red! First one I've seen and it didn't turn green first. I've left quite a few on for weeks to see if they would turn colors but none did until this one. The red one is currently a little over an inch.

Looks like it might be a purple jalapeño.

those look like the purple gusto i grew last year....they start off green..then red...then purple

So I ate the red one today. Easily hotter than a cayenne pepper or peppers of that nature. I see purple jalapeno constantly listed at 2-5k. Maybe mine is the lucky 1%?
