Anybody else growing costeno amarillos?

These costeno amarillos are weird plants - they're about 3 feet tall, with very thin stems, so thin that they can't really stand up on their own. They have to be staked tightly to a tomato stake to hold them up! I have three of them growing and they're all the same - very thin-stemmed and much taller than most of my other peppers. Yet they seem to be otherwise healthy, with plenty of buds and flowers. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience with them.

I stake em all. Here's a pic of mine taken 6-8-10
