Anyone ever use Wilt Stop?

One application lasts all season? It sounds to me like it turns your plant into a plastic one - protects against transplant shock, wind damage, sun scald, winter kill? Hey, no need to harden off plants or even water them again. Spray them with Pinene and be done with them.

I've tried it but I usually don't have wilting problems. I would think it would limit transpiration and therefore reduce plant growth, but I guess too much transpiration is bad too

I've also used "Hot pepper wax" in the past for the same purposes but usually only with young fragile plants

I think I will get a bottle of it today and try it on a couple of plants (that are "extras") just to see how it does...I was thinking like Derek...limiting transpiration would limit growth...may not work worth a crap but with my hot hot summer temps in July/August, I think it will be worth a shot just to see how they do...

just thinking...if you spray the plant when you plant them out (or a little before) what about the new growth...
