I have heard it's a great cover crop to grow in the off season to help enrich the soil and help loosen clay soil like I have. I bought some seeds on eBay and was wondering if you all have any tips I should know. Thanks.
I didn't plant tomatoes this year as they have done terrible the last few seasons. I am thinking of planting the alfalfa now and trying to amend the soil with compost as well through next growing season so that I can grow good tomatoes again.
