This is totally in my plans for some overwinters. Can't freaking wait to have little bonchi chilis all around the house.

my first thought when I saw the title of this thread was "Not on purpose"... 
I have two third year plants and may use one of them in the fourth year to "bonsai" it...very interesting...

I gotta get in on this too! Either gonna use one of my 5-gallon Bhut's after summer season, or one of the Tequila Sunrise sprouts I just transplanted.
I dwarf/bonsai plants every winter but then let them grow out fully in the spring. I just can't justify wasting a good overwintered plants for purely ornamental purposes

I too just learned about this on fatalii. this morning. I have a chinese ornamental and jalapenos to try out. Though I am not sure if I should try with a trio of jalapenos I have clumped together or with a single plant. I may just try all three.
