I've been trying to locate information on Caragana korshinskii and C. microphylla for about a half a year now and seem to come up dry every time. I understand the growing conditions and whatnot, but I can't seem to find any nutritional data on it, outside of it being okay fodder for livestock.
Caragana arborescens is outlawed here, so I'm looking for a suitable hardy perennial replacement that will offer something comparable for our table as well. 36% protein is nothing to shake a stick at.
Thanks for any insights.
