seeds Bad seeds?

Does the color of these seeds indicate bad seeds?

The only bad seeds are the ones that do not germinate so throw them in a damp coffee filter and put it in a zip loc baggie. Its really hard to tell if a seed is no good other than it being hard a crispy and it breaks  when you touch it.

Thanks, figured it was better to try anyway. I was just wondering bc some like the bottom one of the two on the left side were sorta black; kinda like you could see inside it.

Looks like it came from a dried pepper. Plant it and see what happens. I had some dry seeds shipped from India and 90% grew ok
