Bahamian goat pepper origin theory

I have a theory about the bahamain goat origin's here  I know it is probably stupid but here it goes
I think probably during the spice trade the moa scotch bonnet was brought to the Bahamas & crossed with some kind of scorpion pepper then over many generations it became what it is today.

Def a great pepper. I was just giving you the raspberries man. They are awfully similar especially taste wise.

How far from Charleston or Sikeston are you? I drive through there frequently.

It is only about 30 minutes to a hour form Cape Girardeau to Sikeston and Jackson is only 15 minutes or less form cape Girardeau Missouri

I ordered in Bahamain goat from Jim Duffy and piment bouc from another source.  Plan is to grow in same conditions, compare and see if they are the same thing.  There are so many different things called Goat peppers that come from that part of the world that it is hard to figure out which is which.

What I am trying to have available are the goat peppers that are used in traditional Voodoo to offer to Maman Brigitte.  If anyone has a clue, please share.  Is Bahamain Goat pepper the same as Piment Bouc?

Some sources say yes, others are vague: http://ukchilliseeds.co.uk/bahamian-goat-pepper--piment-bouc-10-x-seeds-764-p.asp

I am familiar with 57 but would need to look at a map .
We could always meet sometime if you want in Sikeston that would  be no biggie as long as it would work out for you .

If you give me a bit of time I can find out exactly what peppers those are and where they originate.  I don't think they are Bahamian but I could be wrong.  I'll send you a PM about it.
