indoor Beginners Guide to indoor growing

Hi everyone,

I just found this site, and i must say, from what i've seen, I'm inspired.

I would very much like to get into growing some peppers indoors. I've never really done that before, and it seems many of you are much more advanced then I. Given that, I'm wondering if someone would be kind enough to take some time to document a beginners guide to growing indoors. For me, I don't know what type of soil is best, what type of lights, fan, temp, hrs of light, etc are needed. It would be a fantastic sticky, or even a sub-fourm!

Anyone interested?

thx,
m

Might sound crazy.
and i would not advise anyone to do anything that is against any laws, But

Check out the Maryjane forums.
Those guys are really smart and know how to do an indoor garden up to the max.
They even incorporate vertical gardening to increase growing area.
Lots to be learned from them.

I was going to say the same thing, don't be afraid to peruse the hippy lettuce forums, they are far more knowledgeable about indoor growing and lights than people who grow anything else. I end up there half the time when I search for plant information on google anyway. When what you're growing is worth $300 an ounce, there's a lot more incentive to completely maximize everything. And since you're in Canada you don't have to worry about Homeland Security knocking on your door. :D

Checkout some of my older post from a year to 2 years ago. I put up lots of info that included diagrams, specs, light info, cooling etc. I don't do much indoor anymore, but one of my favorite sources of info is the maximum yield website article archives. It's pretty much a small book now that they are about 4 years old.
