Bhut Jolokia plant not doing well

My Bhut Jolokia plant was damaged from overwatering, and sun damage as it was set out way too early in it's lifetime. It's now starting to recover and the time came to transplant into a 3 gallon pot. Unfortunately, I ripped out about half of it's root system in the process.

Do you think my bhut jolokia will be ok? Will it continue to grow or what?

Does something look wrong?

Don't overwater and keep it in the shade for a couple of weeks.   Should be fine.

     Above ground growth will be slow for a while as it rebuilds its root system. Do what Mikey said, though, and it ought to pull through. Good luck!
