Last year i grew various types of chilli's including Bhut Jolokia but my usual method was starting the seeds in potting compost and vermiculite but i thought i would have a go at starting some birds eye chilli's in moist kitchen roll in my propagator, they now have a little hook started - my question is when i pot them do you have the hook pointing up?

really doesn't matter how it goes In the soil as long as there is enough soil over top it so the root doesn't pop out of the ground
