Black Current

I found a bush last year and planted it to see if it would go, this year so far so good.
Been trying to find black currents but they seem to be rare, and the only ones on the net are sugared, so I started to look for plants.
 
Its Raining right now, snow still on the ground.

very cool. I'm planning on growing these to blend with other fruits (elderberry) for wine.

Update.
Nice and large now, bigger the expected.

Nice! They propagate easily from cuttings being soft wood. We have a hedge of them, and make cordials and vodka cassis out of them
