Black Hungarian - I couldn't wait longer and had to eat one now

I've been waiting and waiting for my Black Hungarians to ripen red and just couldn't wait any more.
 
So I twisted this off tonight and ate it

 
Great flavor, very crunchy. not much heat.
I'll grow a few plants next year.
 
Scrawny plant, but it is producing a few peppers.

they have a flavor like a Jalapeno but in my opinion just a little better, they would make excellent poppers, but i would wait till they turn red
