Your Proly Over watering To Much, & Pods Are Ripeing I Had My Pods Turn Like That From Da Top & goto Brown Pods, Normal.

But At times pods tend to fall for a sort of reason..dont water to much..

I am having this issue too. Have had it the past two years. An it's usually smaller pods that suffer from this. Not sure what the cause is. Something similiar has been discussed on here earlier this season. Thinking is a bacteria that forms in the flower before pods set in. My issue now is horn worms. Finding atleast one a day, ugh.

Yep, seems to be pretty common this season. Black fungus in the pod. I've had two waves of pod set this season and the first pods of both waves have been riddled with black mold. After about the first couple of harvests, everything returns back to normal. And the purpling on the top of the pod is basically a suntan. It's the pod's way of protecting itself from the UV rays. It's probably getting a lot of direct sunlight. Nothing to worry about there.
