Black Mold? Blossom End Rot?

Hey guys,

I've had this problem before, but it was manageable, with only several here and there.

This year however, nearly every single pod that's come off a plant that isn't in my small greenhouse is moldy/rotting on the inside. My profile pic is what I'm dealing with.

So please, what causes this? What solved it for you guys in the past? Thanks for the help!

Ok, well they're outside, so I can't exactly control the rain or humidity... How do people in more tropical climates avoid this?

Try picking some green and cutting them open to see if they've got rot.
Check for little insects like aphids and whatnot. If only the outdoor plants are rotting, it might be pests, or a neighbor's chemicals drifting over.

Only other thing I can think of is that it may have been fungal. I see no symptoms of ber
