review Blackie's Best Gourmet Hot Sauce mini-review

Blackie's Best Gourmet Hot Sauce claims to be "Unlike any hot sauce you've ever tasted".

Does it live up to the hype?

Well not really.  It is a good basic sauce along the lines of a Tipico or Cholula. It's certainly not bad, just not very different or exciting. Judging by the marketing it is aimed at non-chileheads looking for something a little different.

The most interesting thing about it is the bottle, which is made of pete plastic, like a skinny 8.5 oz version of a Huy Fong Sriracha bottle.

Taste: 3 of 5, Basic, garlicy, salty and not overly vinegary.
