BTI for insects

We have little black nats that start as clearish whiteworms. They are tiny little things. I found this stuff online. http://www.ghorganics.com/BTI_For_Fungus_Gnats.htm

do i really have fungus gnats or would this kill what ever i have. What could you suggest if you don't think this will work.

Get Bacillus thuringiensis, any garden supply has it and it controls lots of different larvae, including fungus gnats.
