Its odd, looks like ladybug shells in the planter...

Ugh. Agree those multitude of red things are not ladybugs. I've seen them before when doing some bug research, and can tell you GET RID OF THEM PRONTO. They will decimate your plants. Don't remember the name of them, just that they are no friend.

I don't know what they are but there sap suckers and are eating the sap out of your plant.. almost looks like a wood tick but no matter what get rid of them..

Looks like stink bug nymphs.

Actually, they may be a predatory species, which would definitely account for the shell casings you're finding.

And you see the other type of bugs under the leaves? That plants needs a toxic bath.
