pests bugs! ? aphids?

should i be worried that i found this next to my peppers plants ?
i also found ladybugs around them. i don't know if they eat them or not. so i did not spray anything yet.

They look like Mealy bugs to me. I have them pretty bad this year. Last year I saw them rideing on falling leaves from an Oak tree and ending up on my plants. This year they seem to be in cahoots with the aphids. Lots of mashing and spraying. Glad you had some lady bugs working em over!

Hey Srin, lady bugs are good, don't hassle them. Those aren't aphids; I'd physically try to remove them, maybe high pressure water. If you use insecticide you'll kill the good stuff. Cheers.

so far what i did was flush them using water. hope thats enuff because i don't wanna lose my lady bugs here as i have not had any aphids for sometime now and loots like the lady bugs are also increasing..
