Butch T?

My Scorpion is starting to pod up, and the pods look a bit wonky. I know they can have a variety of shapes, but this seems a bit outside of the normal realm of variation...

So I ask: cross, wonky Scorpion, or another variety altogether?

Unfortunately I have no information on the origin of the seed. I bought it from the local Co-op as a seedling along with a Bhut. The Bhut seed supposedly came from NMSU and turned out true, but no such information on the Butch Ts.

Those are not butch t's, but with that said, i also have some odd shape pepeprs on mine, last year they look like the true pods, this, year, they do not at all, and it's the same plant. I got my seeds from the hippy seed company and some are long like that. I just assumes they got stressed really bad and that's why the shapes are funny looking. So only way you can tell is wait for other pods to form, or if you ever ate a butch t's eat when it's riped.
