ingredients
1 lb shrimp (peeled & de-veined)
1 medium onion (chopped)
3 orange habaneros (chopper & de-seeded)
4 garlic cloves (minced)
2 fresh culantro leaves (finely chopped)
1 fresh Cuban oregano leaf (finely chopped)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoon olive oil
butter, butter, & more butter
1. heat olive oil in frying pan (medium-high heat)
2. add onion, habaneros, & garlic - cook for 5 minutes
3. add the rest of the ingredients, except the butter - cook until the shrimp is pink and has curled a bit
4. add butter (we added 2 tablespoons, but some people like more)
5. lower heat to medium-low - cook until butter has melted (1 to 2 minutes)
6. enjoy!
