pod-i.d. C. Baccatum?

Hey everyone, 
 
I decided I needed to join this awesome forum because I've been growing peppers for a few years now and I know I want to continue. 
 
The real thing that pushed me to join is the fact that I purchased six pepper plants that were sold as pepperoncini, and they are clearly not. They have flowers that I understand could indicate that they are c. Baccatum, and the fruit is starting to turn brown. They're pretty small, not more than two inches in either direction. Definitely baccatum flowers!
 
It would be interesting to see how the pod colour progresses - brown may not be the final colour. Also, that kinda browning is sometimes caused by sun exposure on certain plants.

Yeah, that dark coloring is plant "suntan" that will go away once the pepper starts ripening.
 
Gonna guess this is Malawi Piquante, aka Peppadew peppers. Not too hot, good for pickling and stuffing!
