My question is what pepper is this? Cabe taliwang: a pepper spicier than the Bird's eye chili, similar in spiciness to the naga jolokia, its name is supposedly the origin from which Lombok Island, or "the Island of the Chili", derives its name.
I take it that cabe means pepper and Taliwang is a region in Indonesia. What type of pepper are they talking about? I found other articles and references to this pepper, but only in ref to sambal.
