I can get calcium and magnesium carbonate(pharma grade) and what I am thinking is to use it as a foliar spray to feed the plants. Instead of epsom salt and adding cal to the soil...

Anyone ever try this???

Be careful. Unlike primary nutrients or even magnesium, which are very mobile, calcium is not great to apply via foliar means and has potential to cause leaf burn. Much better off applying through the soil.

like Ditter said, I don't use it as a foliar spray..just in the soil of the container

After trying to get the prescription antacids into solution it will be better added to the soil.
