Calcium testing for peppers

If your into making stuff for your plants try making Calcium phosphate take a bunch of egg shells and make ash out of them get them real black the smaller the shell the better it works, crush them real fine before cooking. Put them into a jar pour in equal amount of white vinegar let it set for two weeks, spray on plants just as first flowers appear. Use left over shells to dress the soil. works great. mix left over liquid 2 tablespoons to a gal of water that has no chlorine

I use calcium supplements and grind them up then add them to the soil mixture. It really helps flatten the leaves. It's the more expensive method but doesn't take any time to prepare.
