fingers crossed is my motto and smooch the flowers together never know just how is never seen sutch thing before but mmm giant spicy peppers sure hope so

Yes, it is possible provided that the parents are from genetically compatible species. So the pubescens species won't cross with annuums and chinenses, but annuums and chinenses can cross with each other, for example. Bell peppers and Scotch Bonnets have been crossed. And the NuMex Spice Jalapenos (Lemon, Orange, and Pumpkin colors) are said to be the result of a cross between Early Jalapeno and Permagreen Bell peppers.

I would suggest that you emasculate the recipient flower before you cross pollinate it, because if you don't, then later on you won't know which of the seeds in the pod are your cross, and which seeds were self-pollinated with pollen from the same flower.

If that is your goal then you might want to look at Antep Aci Dolma. It is a Bell pepper type that had Jalapeno level heat bred back into it.

Grew them this season, its my new favorite Bell pepper big flavor with JalapeƱo heat.
