Canarm Fluorescent Light Ok For Growing

Hi there.  I have this new light and was just wondering if it will be alright for starting indoors late this year.  It is nothing fancy and special, but I have it and would like to use it.  I do not have bulbs yet, as I have some reading to do to determine which ones would best be suited for growing, but believe I have it narrowed down to either the 5000k, or 6500k.  I am not intending to start nearly as many plants as this year, so I do know I am limited in the number of plants I can put under the light.  Thank you.

yeah that will work.

daylight 5000k and cool white 6500k are both good. (cool white usually cheaper).

You fit probably 2 small rows under it (like 24x solo cups size)

That's awesome news, in both aspects.  Being able to use it and also for around 24 cups, give or take.  Thank you.

Oh, and would I need to remove the lens or can I safely use it with the lens over the bulbs?  Thank you again.
