I pretty much took the year off as I did not plant a single seed for 2019. All I had were overwinters that I neglected a bit and due to a poor summer did not produce anything to speak of.2019 is over and I am looking forward to 2020 for several reasons. But politics aside I will address the grow.
i am going to grow, chocolates! Yes, Chocolates sound like a great idea.
I have grown fond of bhutlahs in addition to some old standbys like brown moruga chocolate bhuts, maddballs etc.
I plan to grow several selections in containers as usual but if I can get my ducks in a row I may be going back to in-ground grows. Looking back over the past 5 -6 years I have found my plants did much better in-ground vs container grown. I feel this is mainly to do with unhindered root development, which occurs in the less limited confines of even the largest containers. I am also going to cut back on feeding. not convinced pepper plants need as much food as maryjane.
I will be, finally, growing the ist generation of my (7 Not Burgundys) temporarily designated till I properly name them.
