Try Alaska fish and kelp pellets (veggie and tomato). Its only 4-6-6 (All Purpose is 6-4-6) and it has a good shot of calcium (7%) in it too. If you just want a big shot of nitrogen and calcium look no further than calcium nitrate. Its 15.5-0-0 and 19% calcium that is immediately available unlike calcium carbonate. Stuff is cheap too if used mainly for the calcium. A 4lb bag is around $6 and enough to last more than a season if you are just using it to boost calcium.
