catchthebear 2020

A little slow out of the gate this year, but I had some time today to get some seeds dropped this afternoon.

Most everything here has come from trades this year, so a very big thank you to all that have swapped with me.  I also have at least another 100 or so varieties I plan to start very soon.  Will likely start those at work and not keep tabs on them as much until they're a bit larger, so those will probably show up in this Glog some point further down the line.

Here's what I got rolling today as well as some photos.  Thanks for scoping it out!

My 2019 Grow Log  http://thehotpepper.com/topic/71476-catchthebear-2019/

First off, awesome stuff as always.

Second. what is that small plant, second from the top, in the first photo at the top of the previous page? That's not a baby finger lime is it? If so, are they as hard to start as people say?

Thank you, friend :)

That is a finger lime plant, yep!  I grew it from seed.  They are easy to grow, but the seeds need to be very fresh.

Made some new labels today, too.  Should last a good long while longer than China marker I hope.

Hey CTB.  That's a cool mix of plants to have growing inside over the winter months.  Glad to see you have those and they seem to be doing well.

And thanks for the reminder on the grease pencil.  I need to pick some up so I'm not playing "guess that plant" next season.

Thanks, CD.  So far, so good.  Have 'em upstairs where I can keep a close eye on 'em.

These are what I used for my new tags.    Just ran them through my laser printer.  I had a friend report back with good results after one season of use.  No noticeable difference on his end.  Grease pen always worked well for me in the past, though!

Edit:  Can't seem to post Amazon links here apparently. Just have to search for that if it interests ya:
