Cayenne Pepper...twin from hand pollinating...

Well I have this plant indoors, and thus needed to hand pollinate it with a small water color paint brush. I have the brush in a ziplock bag and only use it for Cayenne plants. Don't want any cross pollination.

From the pic you can see that a second pepper almost started. Has anyone seen this before? The same plant has other twins on it too.

I agree. If I did not pollinate this I would have no peppers till it warms up outside. We are still getting nights around 40's to high 30's. I didn't want to put a small plant outside to die. Yes the days are up to the mid 80's, but I want a strong plant.
I have never seen this type of twin pod trying to grow. Has anyone else?
