Cheiro roxa starting to pod

I bought 3 small Chiero Roxa plants from Jim Duffy and they are finally starting to flower and put out a pod or three. These have been kept in isolation by not allowing anything else to flower at the same time and then bagging the hand-pollinated flowers.

This is the smallest of the 3 plants. When grown in full sun they are a great colour,

I LOVE these peppers. Very tasty. Similar to CGN21500 in taste and color, but with a flat top, and overall a little smaller. Can't go wrong.

I have a friend with CGN21500, so we`ll trade seeds at the end of the year. I also have Fidalgo roxa seeds from Ajijoe, which are a similar plant, but the pods are more elongated.

Really looking forward to these, as I`ve never tasted one.
