Cheri's 2016 Grow list ( getting longer every day)

Well, I guess this is as good a time as any to start this.

When I first joined this forum I had a grow list that included only 5 types of peppers. It now sits at 25 and may yet get bigger before I actually get them in the ground.

Finally got everything sown that I am growing this year. I am sure there will be a few added as the year progresses, but for now I have edited the list for what is actually planted or already growing.

Updated 2/23/16 all OW numbers are correct, surviving this years plants in this color .
I do have grow down seeds on towels, and a few plants I plan to add as plants.

I am sure I am in over my head, and that many pepper seedlings and plants will fall victim to my lack of experience, but I will most definitely have fun :)
Thank You again to all those that have contributed to this list.

Nice list! I have a few Matay if you still want to grow them.
I am very interested in them but I have little to trade  with at the moment.  Even the reapers I saved seed from this year were kinda runty and not truly seed worthy. If you are interested in a trade for anything I listed from Judy or AjDrew I have them in hand and am willing to share the small stock I have.
The selection from Mike is not in hand yet... I should fix that lol.

No worries. Just pm your address and I'll get some out to you.

I sent plenty of seeds Cheri, so feel free to share them or trade them with others (assuming this second batch gets to you!).

Thank you  :) I most likely will share as I can only grow so much and hate to see good seeds sit around.
My former Father-in-law will likely see some of them as he is always interested in anything from "the old country" as he calls it :)

I am considering getting seeds from CARDI but worry about finding enough people to send that many seeds to lol.

Don't sweat it.  I was about the same as you last year.  I went from about 10 pepper plants to around 90.  There are a lot of great people here, which I think you've already noticed.  Any problems you may run into have already been handled by many.

Good luck on the season!

My Sulu Adana are poking their tiny heads out!
Not happy with using the little cups though so will go back to my cells again.

So I started a few seeds on 11/27 just to scratch the itch for growing.

I started 5 Sulu Adana and 5 Manzano Amarillo.

Got sprouts on three Sulu Adana on 12/4/15 and I put one fresh seed of Aji Fantasy ( from a Wicked Mike pod) in a pot.

Had one Manzano sprout on 12/9/15 but it looked rough, most of the seed head had rotted off, this caused me to check the rest and found they had rotted in the pot. Guess I need to water less or have better  drainage or both.

Last evening the Aji Fantasy sprouted a nice healthy hook.

I am limited to my lighting for starting plants at the moment as I do not plan to set up fully till late Jan. I have one "grow" light over them right now, but other then a little legginess they are doing well. The trick will be getting them to survive till plant out lol.

I will replant the Manzano when I start getting serious in Jan. But the one is still alive and trying lol.

Edited the list to reflect what I actually put into soil.
I cut most of the super hots from my new seed planting, I have my OW ones and I am sure I will add live plants later this spring.
Got my shelves up with some of the lights, still need to get a light for the top row and need to wrap it all up.
Was not able to get the seed starting mix I wanted, had to use a local nursery's stuff. Way more peat then I would like but I cut it heavy with added Perlite (spelling) and hope this helps some. I will just have to watch the moisture closely till I move them into their next pots.
