Chile chilaca

there always good for making fresh Mole sauce
but they are good freshly roasted and added to food (Like steak)
 
you can also deseed them then saute them with a little salt,onion and or shallot and a little sugar (in butter or olive oil) and added to burgers or sausage sandwiches ;) Yummy!!
the rocotos would be good like that as well :dance: (not mole however)

This is the main reason I grow them (Pasilla) every year. 
 
They are very good fire roasted and added to most everything.
