I realize that this question may seem somewhat off-topic, but I am in the process of starting a chili company. While I do not have my own commercial kitchen space, I wanted to get some input on finding a co-packer to assist with production, compliance with food laws, distribution and marketing of the product. This is one of the first major challenges I have been confronted with, but wanted to see what input the group here might be able to offer. Being that I am in Southern California, it would be ideal to locate one in this area. However, due to the limited nature of companies willing to engage in co-packing, I might have to entertain out of state opportunities for this.
Any assistance is certainly appreciated!
