plant Chilli from the Brazilian interior

Since I started getting into chillies, my father in law has shown to have insane tolerance of chillies. I would go to chilli market and pick out the most destructive thing I could find and each time he would eat it without a care. Anyways, a few months ago he visited the family of his other son in law in the interior. He saw some chillis on their land and they warned him they are hot. Of course he ignored them and ate them anyway. His wife told me it was the only time she saw him suffer. I even sked him when I saw him what they were like. He said horrible, pure pain, not even any identifiable sweetness or taste besides the pain. Of course his wife promptly brought some back and plated them. These are them. Any ideas?
