Cinnamon as an anti-fungal

I`ve been using cinnamon as an anti-fungal on my Orchids for many years. I grow cloud-forest orchids, so cold, wet, windy and very humid. A dusting with cinnamon helps enormously with fungal contamination.

Anyway, for pepper growing I think cinnamon can be useful, especially for damping off fungus, which I`ve had too much this year due to a complete lack of growing talent!

Ok, so here`s the question.

Cinnamon is an anti-fungal, so will it also kill Mycorrhizae???

The Mycorrhizae should populate the root zone and you are applying Cinnamon to the , ah forget it. Just use a fan.

I have fans going night and day. Still have damping off. Just shows you how much I suck.

Bottom water and it should help. As for the mycorrhizae, idk. Good question.

Dunno, but I used cinnamon for the one year I had damping off problems, and it worked great.
