I've got lots of fresh supers.

Bhuts (red, yellow, chocolate)
TS Butch T
Douglah (next week)

You will have to sign a legally binding agreement that says you will not sell the seeds from them. Considering they are open pollinated you probably shouldn't use the seeds from them anyway.

Also, if you plan on purchasing them for resale I will need you to sign a wholesaler's agreement and pay a wholesaler fee to start your wholesale account.

No Armac, you will not need to sign an agreement. I am not trying to be rude to the buyer, I am honestly trying to help her purchase peppers. Please don't read too much into what I said. However, I think it is within my rights as a responsible vendor to ask people not to resell my products without permission. Any major company in the United States would do the same thing. Nabisco labels packs of Oreos "not for resale" for the very same reasons.

With 99.99% of my customers I would never ask them to sign an agreement because they are not going to try to use my products in such a way that it either impacts my business or misrepresents a product. I am fully aware that the author of this post is purchasing pods from members here to sell the seeds on eBay.

The peppers I sell are open pollinated and are very likely to produce crosses. I want the author to make an inform decision if he/she would like to purchase from me. I have product that is specifically designated for resale and my offer to the author is genuine. If I didn't truly want the business I would have never posted.

There is no ill-will in my offer. Enough said.

how many lbs do you import a year?????

bhut jolokia is one of the easy one to grow . i may plant 5 acre next year so we can make some money and get the price at 3.00 per lb and get every one in the usa seeds free. have a good day and think about the price.i may sell you some.if you sign a agreement to sell for 3.99 lb.

Good luck to you. Honestly this year the market is already so flooded that you would be lucky to get $3 a pound for them wholesale. There are some major commercial farms that have started on the west coast and in South America in addition to the farms in India. So next year I would be happy to sign an agreement to sell them for $3 per pound if you will sell them to me for $2.

Honestly, I don't understand why you are convinced that I was being a jerk or was not being serious. Every business owner has the right to protect his business. If you think that giving everyone in the country free seeds is going to be good for your business then you should absolutely do it. I was only doing what I thought was in my best interest and in the meantime offering you exactly what you were asking for in your post.

I do import dried peppers, the fact is clearly stated on my website, I do not misrepresent my products in any way, shape or form. I have also stated very clearly here in the forum that the smoked pods and powder I sell come from India. I do not see why that should even be an issue.

How many illegal immigrants will you have to employ in order to turn a profit on an acre of peppers????

If you have smoked pods and powder for a reasonable price next year and you have a good product I would be more than happy to stop importing them, the main issue is that I cannot produce the quantities the market demands at a price that can compete with the imported pods from India.

Like I said, there was nothing nefarious about my original post, I still hope we can do some business someday, but if you think the best thing for your business is to try to put everyone else out of business then you obviously have missed the fundamental rules of capitalism.

I am in this business for the fun of it, I really love peppers, I make very little money doing this and all of the money goes towards my pepper growing habit, I have a greenhouse to make payments on, gas/water/electric bills, fuel, soil and materials. If by chance I EVER turn a decent profit it will most likely be donated to a charity such as the Farmer Veterans Coalition. I make plenty of money doing my day job, but peppers keep me active and happy outside of work.

edit* My apologies to Armac. I don't have any reason to think you viewed my post as negative and I shouldn't be negative towards you.

note to theghostpepperstore....business dealings should be private don't you think? JMHO

Yes you are probably right, in hindsight posting this was a mistake. I should have just sent a PM.

I would edit and take down every one of my posts on the thread, but I don't think that is fair either, I said what I said and I am going to stand by it.

My apologies to hotpepperalabamagirl. If you want to do business with me please send me a PM or drop me an email.
