fermenting Cloudy Brine

Hello. I'm making two batches of fermented hot sauce. One jar has a nice cloudy brine no mold on top. Other jar has a cloudy brine but also has small clouds of floating white stuff. No mold on top. Is it still good? What is that stuff?

It's likely Kahm yeast. Google it for some pictures. You can scrape it off when you're done fermenting - if half way through, just leave it.

If it's fuzzy and any colour other than white then it's mold. The best test is with your nose - let the ferment go for as long as you intended then give it a good sniff when you open it. If it's bad, it'll smell bad.
