Clover mites?

I seem to have a bit of a clover mite infestation. Not really bad on my pepper plants, but they are all over my cacti.
 
Are they harmful to pepper plants?
 
What would be my options for eliminating (or at least controlling) them?
 
I would prefer natural solutions rather than chemical, but I might consider chemicals, if necessary.

I have been lucky the last couple of years with having no pests, except a couple of hornworms last year.
 
I usually find one or two praying mantis' in my garden every year, so that might be why.
