Gday guys... First up I am in NO way going to sell this stuff..
THIS WAS AN EXPEREIMENT!
A. its too time consuming for a sauce recipe
B. This is for friends - and could say it HIGHLY LIMITED & FREE.
And I have made 10 bottles to give away only... if you pay postage.
OK .... here is how it started !
I was making apple cider and decided to get apples to juice.
I didn't end up using them ... SO I decided last night to do a APPLE MUFFIN....
Half apples with it pitted
A strawberry for each apple
Brown sugar
Cinnamon
Honey
Chocolate chips (dark)
In oven for 1 hr on 220 Degree celsius.
These things rocked ! And tasted fantastic with a bit of icecream !!! I only wish I had done this before I put my cider to rest probably would have thrown them in there too.
But i thought ... this would make a good sauce !??? Mabey !
So I tripled the ingredients :
added honey - 1/2 hr in
add chocolate- 1 hour in
And cooked this for 1 and 1/2 hours on same temp.....
OWW it smells soooooo goooood !!
BLENDED THE LOT
Then I chucked in 2 cups of the same recipe as the GPS for heat,
and produced this:
Looks like crap.... taste is exactly what I wanted for a pork sauce ! And it burns like a cut dipped in lemon juice.... nice sting, not real long lasting but peaks out nice.... ready for next bite!
Ingredients:
Above apples
raw GPS - 2 cups (for heat )
peach
pear
rice wine vinegar -
Balsamic vinegar -
100% apple juice -
I have made this for the PORK SPIT ROAST that I am having this weekend for my Aussie Bucks party Sat.
