Cold hardy Chinense?

This commercial grower in Japan posted this pic to his fb feed. Called the variety a trade secret. 50k-100k SHU Chinense. From the post it appears this is cold hardy. Any ideas what it could be?

50 to 100k shu? depending on size I could have some fun mixing it in with some plum tomatoes.

Shape looks more like a rocoto and small manzano which tend to grow in cooler climate and fall withing the heat range. leaves look wrong though.

Just my opinion though

It doesn't seem that cold in the pic. Ask if you can buy a few seeds.

Be careful mixing things with plum tomatoes HP. Mixing douglahs with dates was funny at first, then I got the short end of the stick. I ate a date, I mean. Douglah isn't disgusting.

I agree, get some growing or at least some additional information.

Hmmm, I still think red moruga powder would be interesting on cottage cheese and maybe some brown moruga powder on Apple sauce.

Why thank you for the idea. Of the entire list of things where that came from, that's one of the LEAST horrible ones.
