Color Naming Convention

My white ghost peppers are coming ripe.  My daughter says they look more French Vanilla than white.  She asked me if the brown ghost peppers are called chocolate then why aren't the white ones called vanilla.  I have not an answer.  Then the conversation went into how I should cross the chocolate with the white and come up with a 'Swirl Ghost Pepper'.

Back on topic, why do we tend to call brown chocolate but white we just call white?  How about a mochachino ghost pepper?

I'm partial to the color " dookie. "

However, that being said, I also have a strong penchant to the color " doo doo.'

I believe there is a cappuccino pepper. I forget if it is a ghost but I remember cappuccino used as the color.
