indoor-growing Complete newb to indoor growing

ride it until the wheels fall off, its only 14 watts i don't think you will even notice it on your power bill.
those plants look great by the way, im guessing you brought those in from outside?
 
If you spend the money and get the right HID setup you can expect that same amount of growth and results in 6-8 weeks. I picked over 400 pods in one winter by using a 400 HPS setup in a closet with 6 plants. The only problem I had is I kept having to trim the plants down and had to get rid of 2 out of the 6 because they just grew out of control and I didn't have enough room in the closet for 6' plants.
 
They were only outside long enough to get a pretty good case of aphids which I have since killed. The rest of their life has been in that window sill or on the floor under the light. It must be doing something, the winter solstice is less than a month away and they seem happy.
