I grew up eating hot peppers, my dad always had a jar of pickled Chiltepins and a bottle of hot sauce which was more of a hot pepper paste, so us kids got a early start eating hot peppers as my dad didn't see anything wrong with a 3 year old getting a hot pepper or two after all he didn't have to change the diapers as he worked as a Blaster in a open face copper mine.
So thats the way I grew up, but eating a super hot is a all new kind of sport, my introduction was setting down with my brother and his son with a handfull of Bhut Jolokias, that was diffenitly a Kodac moment.
Since then I've tried quite a few peppers that were in the race for the hottest pepper on earth.
I always had a hard time the following day or two, if I also drank a few beers rather than a big glass of milk. My 16 year old grand daughter is not afraid to eat a ghost or a T.S. so long as she can have some milk, ice cream, or yogurt.
Anymore I'm the same way and eat smaller amounts of the super hots instead of biting a hole one right off the stem.
Right now I'm about to start taking some Chemo, and my doctor has ordered me off eating any hot peppers as my insides will be compromised and I could have some really bad effects after eating them. Luckily I should be better by the end of the year, if things goes as planned. I'll still be growing them as my brother has a black thumb when it comes to growing anything, so, I told him he could have my share of hot peppers this year , I hope he likes the Barrackapores, Red Brain Strains, Mourga Blend, 7 pod SR , yellow and red Trinidad scorpions and red Primo's and oh yes Yellow, Red, Peach or Orange and Cholocate Bhut Jolokias that i will be growing this year. Next year I will be growing several new super hots if I can get them.
