The Red Savs have been a bit contraversial as some of the pods look 7 pod/pot like and others(these ones) look more hab like but I'm still not convinced that they have the deep lobes that RS usually have. Time will tell and if not they are a nice looking chilli. I will have to try to get a few more RS seed sources during the off season until I have found the Real McCoys.

To tell you the truth I have never grown them before but I'm sure Potawie has. I think they ripen red. I also have Guadalope Blacks growing. I have a lot of chillies growing this season that I have never grown before so I take a lot of guidance and input from others on the forum. I'm in this for the love of growing chillies as well as to learn and I get to do that a lot.

I have those little lady bugs/birds everywhere all over my plants and I watch em, They patrol every inch of every leaf, just cruising the whole time on aphid watch.

Thanks mate, some of those douglahs look right and others look a bit different but there is a heap of pod vaiation in the pics I've seen. Anyway so long as its hot.
