Death by pepper

Man dies after eating super-hot chile but probably not because of of the chile. If this was true there would have been many follow up reports
 
The interwebz are no doubt a wondrous source of information and entertainment, but content found on said webz should usually be carefully filtered and sifted with a watchful eye and then sprinkled with a liberal dose of skeptism to taste.;)

that post is from 2008, so if it was true, we'd all know by now.

I like how the one guy who responded said pouring pepper powder on an open wound doesn't sting, yeah right!
