As we speak, the wind is destroying my yard so I imagine i'm going to have a lot of cleanup to do in the next couple days. My chickens might be in the next county by now. Who knows, too scared to go outside and check.
Im braising a nice piece of beef roast atm. Very similar to Hong Kong beef stew. Lots of rice wine, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic and onion. Whole black cardamom, star anise, black/sichuan peppercorns, ginger, bay leaves and a little heat from gochu. A hint of sweetness from rock sugar and hoisin.

Picked up the van from the shop for warranty work done on the fuel pump...Gauge quit working...The owner loves my hot sauce so i gave him some of my "private stock" fermented hab sauce and a bottle of BliS Blast.
Â
Raked up a bunch of leaves to cover part of my small ground plot this winter. Added some Jobes compost starter and lightly watered it. Still need to add another layer of leaves, some coffee grounds and cover it with breathable weed barrier.....The worms should stay warm there this year.

Ordered some batteries from Liion Wholesale in PA. Their pricing on authentic high amp discharge 18650s is killer. They have real Sony/LG/Sanyo/Samsung 18650s for under $6 each and shipping was only $3 for 4 with protective cases. Locally them suckers are nearly $12 a piece.
Just got done scrubbing the kitchen top to bottom, cleaned and organized my office space and now i'm drinking a lagunitas ipa while making guacomole for the burritos that we are having for dinner.Â
Â
Then i'm going to clean again and make a batch of hot sauce. Almost completly out of peppers. I should've saved moreÂ
I put my first set of seeds for the season into cups. Its probably a bit early but sometimes we get a short winter in the Dallas area. Heater broke this morning, on the coldest day of the season so far. So the AC/Heater repairman is here repairing it.
